A Bitcoin casino is an online casino that accepts BTC for deposits and withdrawals, and almost every crypto casino does. Bitcoin is the most widely accepted coin, but its blocks arrive about every 10 minutes on average and its fees rise when the network is busy, so it suits occasional larger transfers better than frequent small ones. The best bitcoin casino for you is one that pays out reliably, is licensed, accepts players from your country and shows its BTC limits and fees up front.
Acceptance. If a casino takes any crypto at all, it almost certainly takes BTC. Most exchanges and wallets support it too, so moving funds in and out is simple.
Speed. Bitcoin.org says new blocks are added “approximately every 10 minutes on average”, but block discovery is probabilistic, so a single confirmation can come much sooner or much later. Casinos decide how many confirmations they wait for before crediting a deposit, which is why a BTC deposit can take anywhere from a few minutes to over an hour.
Fees. Bitcoin fees are not fixed. Bitcoin.org notes that fees “vary over time with demand for space in the blockchain” and depend on the size of the transaction in bytes, not the amount sent. When we checked mempool.space on 1 October 2026, suggested rates were around 4 to 5 sat/vB, which is a quiet network; they climb quickly when blocks fill up. A fee that is trivial on a large withdrawal can be a noticeable share of a small one.
Volatility. Bitcoin.org itself calls bitcoin “a volatile asset”. While BTC sits in your casino balance you are exposed to its price as well as to the games. If that worries you, see our best coins for crypto gambling guide, which explains why many players use a stablecoin instead.
Native bitcoin moves on one network: Bitcoin. The mistakes happen elsewhere.
A Bitcoin withdrawal has two parts: the casino’s own approval, which can be automatic or a manual review that takes days, and the blockchain transfer itself. Most delays happen in the first part. Our crypto casino withdrawals guide covers realistic timelines and what to do if a payout gets stuck.
Paying in BTC does not exempt you from identity checks. Licensed casinos follow anti-money laundering rules, and verification is often triggered at the first large withdrawal. Read our no KYC crypto casinos guide before you rely on staying anonymous.
The casinos shown on this page accept BTC and are scored on licence, payout record, terms, game range and support, using the same rules for every site. Offers are only shown to visitors in Canada outside Ontario and Alberta, Chile and Mexico, and only for casinos that accept the visitor’s country. The full scoring is on our methodology page.
Rarely end to end. The casino has to approve the request first, then the transaction needs to be included in a block, which takes about 10 minutes on average and sometimes much longer. Your wallet may also wait for several confirmations before showing the funds as settled.
Each casino sets its own number, usually shown in the cashier. For context, Bitcoin.org says “6 confirmations is often considered to be as safe as waiting 6 months on a credit card transaction”, and the Bitcoin Wiki notes that most exchanges and merchants require 6 or more.
It is the most widely accepted, not the cheapest or fastest. If you deposit small amounts often, a faster coin or a stablecoin on a low-fee network is usually more practical.
