A Solana casino accepts SOL, and often Solana-based tokens such as USDT or USDC, on the Solana network. Solana slots last roughly 400 to 600 milliseconds and the base fee is 5,000 lamports per signature (a lamport is a billionth of a SOL), so transfers are fast and cheap. The main things to get right are sending on Solana and not another chain, and keeping a little SOL in your wallet for fees.
Speed. Solana’s documentation says slots “are configured to last about 400ms” and may fluctuate between 400ms and 600ms. A transaction is usually confirmed within seconds. Full finality, the “finalized” commitment level, typically sits at least 32 slots behind the latest confirmed block, so a casino that waits for finality adds a few more seconds, not minutes.
Fees. Solana’s fee page sets the base fee at 5,000 lamports per signature, half burned and half paid to the validator, plus an optional priority fee you can add to get processed faster. With one lamport equal to 0.000000001 SOL, the base fee on a simple transfer is a tiny fraction of a SOL. Casinos may still charge their own withdrawal fee, which can be much larger than the network fee.
Volatility. SOL is a volatile asset. Your balance moves with its price while you play. If you want speed without the price swings, many cashiers offer USDT or USDC on Solana; our best coins for crypto gambling guide explains the trade-off.
Reliability. Solana is fast but not immune to downtime. It went offline for about 17 hours in September 2021 and had further outages in 2022. During an outage, deposits and withdrawals on Solana wait until the network is back.
On Solana, SOL is the native coin and other tokens, including USDT and USDC, are SPL tokens. Solana’s docs explain that each token is identified by its mint address and held in a token account tied to your wallet.
A Solana withdrawal is quick once it reaches the blockchain. The wait is almost always the casino’s own approval, which can be automatic or a manual review that takes days. Our crypto casino withdrawals guide covers timelines and what to do if a payout stalls.
Paying in SOL does not exempt you from identity checks. Licensed casinos follow anti-money laundering rules, and verification often comes at the first large withdrawal. See the no KYC crypto casinos guide for how that works in practice.
The casinos listed on this page accept SOL and are scored on licence, payout record, terms, game range and support, with the same rules for every site. Offers are shown only to visitors in Canada outside Ontario and Alberta, Chile and Mexico, and only for casinos that accept the visitor’s country. The full scoring is on our methodology page.
The network itself confirms in seconds, with slots of roughly 400 to 600 milliseconds. Any extra wait comes from the casino’s crediting rules and, for withdrawals, its approval process.
Yes. Fees on Solana are paid in SOL, so keep a small amount in the wallet that holds your USDT or USDC.
The network is fast and cheap, but it has had outages, and look-alike tokens exist. Use official tokens, check the network in the cashier, and test with a small amount if you are new to Solana.
